By accessing media made available by the Animal Welfare Data Center (AWDC), I acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms:

1. No Fundraising Without Direct Action
I will not use AWDC media to solicit or collect donations unless I am directly involved in the rescue, care, or rehoming of the specific animal(s) featured. Using media for fundraising without directly assisting the animals in question is strictly prohibited.

2. No Use by Disreputable or Unauthorized Entities. Only verified and reputable rescues or organizations may use AWDC media. Use of media by any individual or group with a known history of animal neglect, hoarding, or misrepresentation is strictly forbidden.

3. No Illegal or Harmful Use
I will not use AWDC media in connection with any illegal activity, or in any way that could endanger, exploit, or misrepresent the animals, organizations, or the AWDC itself.

4. No False Representation
I will not falsely represent the AWDC, its partners, or affiliates, nor will I imply endorsement or collaboration where none exists.

5. No Alteration or Misuse
I will not alter, mischaracterize, or misuse AWDC media in any way that could cause harm to:
• The AWDC and its mission
• The animals depicted
• The rescues, shelters, or partners involved
• The public’s trust in legitimate animal welfare efforts

6. Animal Safety is Paramount
I understand that no animals featured in AWDC media should ever be harmed, hoarded, or misused in any way as a result of content shared. Media must never be used to falsely claim an animal is safe or rescued if no such outcome has occurred.

7. Revocation and Legal Enforcement
I understand that AWDC reserves the right to revoke access to its media and pursue legal action for any violation of these terms, especially where animal safety, fraudulent fundraising, or misrepresentation is involved.
